Things I considered naming my photography business…
The Camera Sutra
Smile for a Flash
Lens with Benefits.
I thought Rebecca Timlett Photography was the best option.

Hello, I’m Rebecca!
This is a very out of the ordinary thing to write about myself but here goes…
I love life. I’m the kinda girl who will always have something random coming up in the diary, a chocolate bar in hand or a smile on my face.
Photography has always been part of my life and being able to do it as a career choice is an absolute honour. Life is full of incredible moments and being able to help people relive these is a gift.
Where are you from? Raised in Bournemouth, Dorset; now based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
What I love? Family, friends, animals, travelling and fooooood.
Why I love photography? Photography is a universal language. I adore having the opportunity to capture small moments which can be treasured forever. Small time capsules that carry so much love. A good photo is a memory for life.
I have experience working with newborns, children, animals and A-Listers (but that’s a story for another time)
Put your trust in me and let’s see what we can create!
You are a new photographer, should this be a concern?
I am fresh to this and I am excited about it! I am getting more confident with each wedding that I do and each time I hear my clients are happy with results and my service, I know I am on the right track.
I am driven to create photographs I am incredibly proud of for my clients and for my own work. I have a fresh approach, I am not stuck in any routine and therefore you can expect me to work with you to get the results you are going to be happy with.
I’ve got something to prove with each shoot I do so trust me when I say, my ‘newness’ is my super power.
I hate my photo being taken, what can you do to help?
This is the most common thing I hear when doing a shoot. A camera in your face is the most unnatural feeling ever!
First and most importantly, I will make sure it is fun. Why should it be anything but?! This is the part of my job that I love, gaining a trust with my client and putting them at ease.
Through terrible jokes and me hyping you up, you will soon start to enjoy the experience. I aim to distract, relax and eventually make you want the shoot to never end.
What is your photography style?
I love a photo that can let the moment do the talking.
Moments of pure joy and happiness are what I seek with the lens. I try to capture the atmosphere, the romance and connections between friends and loved ones.
I LOVE black and white photography, taking the colour out lets the pure emotions in the shot shine through. A moment can turn from something so simple to something so classy and magical.
The candid shots where people are living completely in the moment - ‘dancing like no one is watching’ - these are very special to be able to capture and they are as true as a moment can be.
